The Idea That Sparked It All
The seed of PaintnGo was planted in 2018, during a transformative period in Abel's life. A conversation with his son, at a considerable low point in his life, led to the idea of a "dispute resolution café," where people could paint their conflicts and resolutions on a wall. It was in that moment, a true "aha!", that Abel realised the potential: to simply create a dedicated space for uninhibited, large-scale wall painting. This concept immediately resonated as a powerful blend of personal expression and market opportunity.
2019 - 2021
From Concept to Creation: Developing the Vision
Over the period of 2019 to 2021, Abel diligently worked on transforming his vision into a tangible reality. Driven by his concept, he invested his earnings into developing PaintnGo's core technology: a unique, washable wall surface that didn't stain. By 2021, armed with this innovation and a stock of water-based paints, it was time to test it.
Summer 2021
First Brushstroke: The Initial Pop-Up Events
The official launch of PaintnGo's public offerings began with a free weekend pop-up event in Abel’s Garden in Bristol in 2021. Over the summer Abel held 3 events each attracting 20 – 30 people validating the concept's widespread appeal and demand. The project then strategically paused, allowing refocus, until Abel relocated to Tunbridge Wells in 2024.
November 2024
Strengthening The Team: Welcoming David
In Tunbridge Wells, Abel met David Chapple, whose profound journey as a carer from 2019-2024 deeply shaped his understanding of community well-being. David instantly recognised PaintnGo's dual potential: both as a powerful social enterprise and a compelling commercial venture. He joined, bringing invaluable expertise that strengthens the mission: creating an inclusive, mess-allowed painting experience that delivers both therapeutic benefits and a compelling commercial offering.

Our Breakthrough Event: The Easter Big Wall Paint
The Tunbridge Wells event in May 2025, known as The Easter Big Wall Paint, marked a significant breakthrough. It demonstrated how PaintnGo's unique experience impacts lives and resonates with a broad audience. The event attracted nearly 300 participants. Attendees experienced the joy and therapeutic benefits of free expression, providing concrete proof of both PaintnGo's social impact and the strong commercial viability of its service.

Join Our Mission: Support Our Crowdfunding
With their own money, David and Abel have secured the lease of premises in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. They now invite support for their crowdfunding campaign "The BIG Splash" to enable them to fit out the space in a way that disabled people can have access, and to facilitate providing free painting sessions to various disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.

Our First Venue: Tunbridge Wells, serving West Kent
David and Abel are delighted to bring PaintnGo to their hometown, Tunbridge Wells. A town with the ideal mix of families, teens, children and businesses, PLUS the schools, community groups and charities who will benefit from the non-profit offerings. It’s the perfect place to launch a business that will grow far beyond its boundaries
2027 Onwards
A Nationwide Impact: Our Vision for the UK
Beyond Tunbridge Wells, PaintnGo's vision is to establish multiple venues across the UK from 2027 onwards. This expansion represents scaling a successful business model that simultaneously delivers significant national well-being and creative accessibility.
